# MoreLike — connector setup (for AI assistants)

MoreLike is a personal TV & movie tracker exposed as a remote MCP server. The user wants to
connect it to you. Work out which app the user is chatting with you in, then give them the exact
steps below for THAT app, briefly.

## Claude (claude.ai, desktop, or mobile)

Opening it pre-fills Claude's "Add custom connector" dialog; the user reviews it, signs in or
creates an account, and approves. Connectors are account-level, so adding once syncs to the
Claude desktop and mobile apps automatically.
Manual alternative: claude.ai -> Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector -> paste https://morelike.ai/mcp.

## ChatGPT
Requires a paid plan (Plus/Pro, or a Business/Enterprise/Edu workspace); the free tier cannot add
custom servers. Steps: Settings -> Connectors (called "Apps" in newer builds) -> Advanced ->
enable Developer mode. Then Create connector, name it MoreLike, MCP server URL https://morelike.ai/mcp, and sign in
or create an account when prompted. Developer mode is required for MoreLike's write tools.

## Any other MCP client (OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, LM Studio, Jan, Goose, ...)
Add a remote / Streamable-HTTP MCP server with URL https://morelike.ai/mcp.
- Clients with OAuth sign-in walk the user through login (create the account when prompted).
- Clients that take a URL + headers instead: the user creates an access token at https://morelike.ai/tokens and
  sends the header "Authorization: Bearer mlk_...".

## After connecting
Tell the user to send this as their first message to get set up:
"I'm new to MoreLike — help me get started."
